Day 1 : Cairo

Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you will be met and assisted by our representative who will help you during passport control, luggage area, and customs formalities. Then you will be transferred to your 5-star hotel in Cairo on a private air-conditioned vehicle for check-in. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2 : Giza

Location: Giza, Cairo

Giza pyramids & Egyptian museum
Visit the Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu). It is certainly one of the most important monuments of ancient Egypt. A masterpiece of fabricated structure and architecture, you will be overwhelmed by the huge size of its blocks, the height, and the age that exceeded 4600 years.
Your guide will explain fully the history of all the area including the other pyramids, of Chephren and Mycerinus, answer all your questions and you will have the chance to take pictures of the whole area.
You will spend more than two hours in the area so that you can enter one of the pyramid's chambers or visit the Sun boat museum. You may like to have a camel ride around the area.
Moving to the Sphinx area where you will spend some time exploring this monolith statue, which symbolizes the power and wisdom of the pharaoh. Next to the Sphinx area, you will visit the valley temple where you will learn about mummification in ancient Egypt.

The Egyptian Museum in Cairo is one of the largest museums in the world. Your Egypt tours will take you on a 4 hours tour to explore the treasures of the museum (opened in 1901). Look at the amazing monuments and artifacts in its different halls in a guided tour. Although the museum has tens of thousands of artifacts in this short tour, your Egyptologist guide will focus on the highlights and masterpieces of the museum
Visit the Tut Ankh Amun Wing on the first floor and see his wonderful collection of historically important artwork. The treasures are mainly golden and they cover a quite large section of the museum. This area of the museum includes significant statues, furniture, and gold sculptures. After enjoying the guided part of the tour, take some free time to browse the museum with the option of visiting the royal mummy room.

Day 3 : Aswan

Location: Aswan

Aswan - Philae temple
The magnificent Temple was dedicated to the Cult of the Goddess Isis, but it became submerged after the first Aswan dam was built in 1902, and it was not until the sixties that many countries attempted to save the Temple. All these countries, together with UNESCO moved the temple to the Agilika Island. The Egyptians built the temple during the Greek, Roman, and Byzantine eras; every ruler was keen on adding and expanding the temple to show his reverence to the Egyptian deities. Your Egyptologist guide will explain all the different reliefs, courts, and pylons of the temple.
The High Dam of Aswan is one of the most important and great achievements of Egypt during the 20thCentuy. For many years, the dam represented the period of modernism in the country. It provided Egypt with Hydroelectric power and safeguarded the country from the dangers of the flood. Your guide will accompany you to explain the history of the Dam, its advantages and disadvantages.

Day 4 : Kom Ombo

you will be escorted by your Egyptologist guide to visit Kom Ombo temple, the crocodile-headed God of fertility and creator of the world. After this, you will have lunch aboard your cruise with leisure time. w
The temple was dedicated to Horus, the falcon-headed. The temple of Edfu is the most well-preserved among ancient temples. Your private guide will give you a detailed history of the temple and its reliefs,

Day 5 : Luxor

Location: Luxor

Luxor - West bank
At the beginning of your tour, you will cross the Nile to the West bank where you will visit the Valley of the Kings. The Pharaohs were hiding their mummies and treasures in this barren desert area. Many of these treasures were found in these beautiful colored tombs. You can visit three tombs to enjoy the colors and murals on the walls. The tombs were carved deep in the mountain rock; you have the option to visit other royal tombs such as Tut Ankh Amun
Then continue your tour on the west bank and drive to the mortuary temple of Queen Hatshepsut. She is the first female pharaoh in ancient Egypt who ruled the kingdom for 20 prosperous years. This temple is called El Deir el Bahari as the early Christians used the Northern monastery, as it was a Coptic monastery. Unlike the other temples, this one was built of limestone and partly hewn in the mother bedrock. It has three terraces and its focal point is to tell the story of the Divine birth of the Queen.
The Colossi of Memnon are two monumental statues representing king Amenhotep III of the 18th Dynasty of Egypt. They are located west of the modern city of Luxor and face east looking toward the Nile River. The statues depict the seated king on a throne with some other carvings of his mother, his wife, the god Hapi, the Nile god, and other symbolic engravings. Both are carved from single blocks of sandstone and the name refers to the Greek hero Memnon who fell in the Trojan War

Day 6 : Luxor

Karnak temple is a complex of temples. The temple is dedicated to Amun Ra, the chief god in Egyptian mythology. Enjoy the Great Hypostyle court and the reliefs and murals that were added through the generations. Feel astonished at the tall obelisks 70 feet high and cut from a single piece of granite. Look at the statues of the different pharaohs who want to show their loyalty to RA. Keep an eye on the magnificent tall columns and their papyrus and Lotus capitals while their shafts are loaded with hieroglyphics.
Originally Luxor temple and Karnak were connected with the Ram-Headed Sphinxes Avenue. The connection was to celebrate the annual visit of Ra from Karnak to his wife Mut in Luxor. The temple of Luxor witnessed many historical eras and has its extensions and additions along the ages. Different structures and murals show the Greek, Roman, Islamic, and Coptic influences.
Stare at the statues and obelisks of Ramses II. There should be two obelisks at the entrance of the temple but one of them was sent to Paris

Day 7 : Cairo

Location: Cairo

Old Cairo
Visit the Citadel of Saladin, a 12th-century fortress. Inside the citadel; you will go into the Alabaster mosque. Built-in 1830, the mosque was designed by a Turkish architect, who followed the same style as the Blue Mosque of Sultan Ahmed in Istanbul. Your guide will explain the main elements of the mosque and basic Islamic principles. Enjoy the panoramic view of the city from the top.
Visit the Hanging church, one of the most beautiful churches that were built in the 5th century. Consecrated to Virgin Mary, The church was built above one of the towers of the fort of Babylon. It has 110 beautiful icons and once was the seat of the Patriarch. Your guide will explain to you all about the church before moving to the Cavern church or the church of St Sergius and Bacchus. Thousands of visitors come annually to this church to visit the cave where Jesus the baby and the Virgin Mary were hiding for 3 months during the journey of escape in Egypt. The religious tolerance in Egypt is embodied by your visit to the oldest Jewish temple in Cairo. This temple is one among the other 11 synagogues in Egypt and is named after a merchant from Jerusalem called Ben Ezra. You will be given the full history of the synagogue and the position of the Jewish community in Egypt.
Enjoy some free time at Khan El Khalili, the biggest market in Cairo. In Khan el Khalili bazaar, you will enjoy strolling through the maze of streets and bargain for a souvenir of your trip to Egypt. You can spend some time having a local drink in one of the oldest Coffee shops in Cairo El Fishawy (1763).

Our group of seven, embarked on an extraordinary adventure with "Your Egypt Tours" on the 20th of April, and it was nothing short of magical. From the moment we were picked up promptly at 8:00 AM, to the final drop-off at our hotel at 7:00 PM, every moment was meticulously planned and flawlessly executed. Iman, our exceptional Egyptologist and Tour Leader, captivated us with her deep knowledge and passion for Egyptian history. Her insightful explanations at the Giza Pyramids area provided us with a profound understanding of the ancient wonders we were about to explore. Throughout the day, she ensured that each stop on our itinerary, from the Great Pyramid burial chamber to the Sphinx Area, was not just a visit, but an enriching experience filled with historical context and cultural significance. Safety was paramount at every stage of our journey, and we felt completely at ease thanks to the expert guidance of Iman and the attentive care of our tour chauffeur, Ahmed. The itinerary, meticulously crafted by the team, allowed us to immerse ourselves fully in Egypt's treasures, from the awe-inspiring Giza Pyramids to the fascinating exhibits at the GEM museum. Wow! We just wrapped up an incredible 2 day visit to Cairo with Your Egypt Tours. This was my partner and I’s first visit to Egypt and we can’t say enough great things about our experience. From start to finish they took care of all of the details of our trip. Mona helped us to select the right itinerary for our short stay in Cairo and was clear, timely, and professional in all of her communication. We were picked up from the airport, guided through the visa and customs process, and rode in a lovely private van to our hotel with the help of Ahmed. Driving in Cairo is no easy feat and our driver Raf made us feel incredibly comfortable. We chose to visit the pyramids our first day and check out Cairo, the Khan el Khalili bazaar, and the Egyptian museum on our second day. Our guide, Mamdouh, was truly incredible. His knowledge, fun attitude, and professionalism made our experience so memorable. He is also a great photographer! Every detail of each day was taken care of including coordinating entrance fees, identifying which local vendors were reputable, and giving us a chance to learn more about the Egyptian culture. Every person we interacted with in the tour group is so welcoming and made us look forward to our next visit to Egypt. Fantastic experience on the Sunset Camel Ride. I thought we were going in a group but turns out it was just my husband and I. Hatem our guide was absolutely amazing and so was our car driver. The camel guys were great! We sat and watched the sun set over the pyramids. Best experience and highly recommend Your Egypt Tours ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you plan to go to Egypt - book your tour with Your Egypt Tours. We had an excellent experience. We initially planned our trip before Covid but had to cancel. It wasn't an issue and we were able to keep our deposit. When we finally cleared our schedules and were able to go to Egypt, Mona was very helpful in setting us up for a magnificent trip (again)! The experience was excellent from the moment we landed at Cairo Airport to our departure through customs on the return flight. Ahmed was our airport contact and was very pleasant and helpful. Taha was our guide in Cairo, Giza, and Alexandria and he was awesome. Ahmed was our guide in Luxor and he did a good job. If you go to Luxor make sure you do the hot air balloon ride. One thing to note (not the company's fault.) We chose to go to Hurghada and didn't love that part of the trip. Part of the reason was the hotel (The Hilton Hurghada). I have used different tour guides in other countries and "Your Egypt Tour" definitely stacks up. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.

Terrific experience - I highly recommend Your Egypt Tours! I found this tour company online and ended up booking a 3 day / 2 night tour of Cairo from Taba. The tour agent, Mona Hamdy, did a great job of communicating and organizing the perfect private tour to fit my needs. Mr. Taha Marie, my personal tour guide and Egyptologist, was extremely knowledgeable and always eager to share information about his home country and its long and fascinating history. I found that having my own private tour guide, as well as my own driver, was the perfect way to see and appreciate the many interesting sights in a short amount of time. I felt completely safe at all times and I found the Egyptian people to be kind and welcoming. My heartfelt thanks go out to Your Egypt Tours for an unforgettable trip!
