Day 2: Athens (B/-/-)
After a delicious breakfast, head on a panoramic tour of the city with a local guide which includes a visit to the Presidential Palace and the Panathinaikos Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games were held. You will also visit the national library, the bustling squares of the city center, and the new neighborhoods that emerged after the 2004 Olympic Games. The tour will end at the Acropolis site (entry not included). In the evening you will be transferred to Plaka. Head on a walk through the beautiful meandering streets of the old town, which is scattered with ancient and neoclassical buildings, shops, cafes, and restaurants to enjoy dinner. After dinner, return to your hotel.

Day 3: Athens — Kamena Vourla — Meteora — Kalambaka (B/-/D)
Today you will travel to Northern Greece and pay a visit to the 11th-century Monastery in the Meteora Valley. En route, enjoy a stop at Kamena Vourla, a scenic tourist center situated by the sea amidst the stunning countryside. There will be a brief stop at the gorge where the Battle of Thermopylae took place. The Valley of the Meteora is an impressive place and a World Heritage Site, where an ancient monastic community and a rare geological phenomenon of huge rock pillars coexist in absolute harmony. You will see the entire valley and get the opportunity to go into one of the most famous monasteries in Greece (entry included). Later in the afternoon, you will return to Kalambaka.
Dinner and
Overnight in Kalambaka
Day 4: Kalambaka — Metsovo — Corfu — Preveza (B/-/-)
After breakfast, head out for a mountainous drive to the town of Metsovo. We recommend enjoying a warm cup of coffee in this city, which reminds us of the history and influences of the Turkish and Slavic worlds in Northern Greece. Your journey will take you to Igoumenitsa, where you will set out for the beautiful island of Corfu. Embark on a one-and-a-half-hour ferry ride as you sail across the waters of the Ionian Sea in front of the coast of Albania. A scant few miles off the Albanian coast lies the island of Corfu, one of the most richly endowed of the Greek Isles. Praised by Homer in \"The Odyssey\" and selected by Shakespeare as the setting for \"The Tempest,\" the island retains evidence of cultural heritage from each of its past rulers - Byzantium, Venice, France, Russia, and Great Britain. Rolling acres of olive groves, small orchards of lemon and orange trees, tall cypress, oleanders, and myrtle bushes create a lush, beautiful look to the island. While the oldest part of Corfu Town boasts cobblestone lanes so narrow only pedestrian travel can be possible, the modern sector also features wide avenues. Residents rave about how the \"Spianada\" is the largest and the most beautiful square in all of Greece. You will see a beautiful Byzantine Church perched on an island in Kanoni. Later return to continental Greece, before going on to Preveza. Accommodation in the picturesque lively city with its marina and beaches by the Ionian Sea..
Dinner and
Overnight in Preveza
Day 5: Preveza — Ionian Sea Cruise — Preveza (B/L/-)
Today you will set out to explore the Islands of Greece as you sail across the Ionian Sea. Head on a day cruise that will take you to Porto Katsiki and its beautiful beaches. The main feature is the sea and the islands of the Greek Ionian Sea. White cliffs and crystal-clear blue waters will leave you speechless! Spend the day visiting the nearby island of Lefkada connected by a bridge to the mainland. Embark on a days cruise that will take us to Porto Katsiki or goat port (Greek meaning), got this name because, in the past, only goats could reach this area. Explore Cephalonia, the largest island in the Ionian Sea. Here, you may head out on a stroll through the picturesque village of Fiscardo and Ithaca; the homeland of Ulysses and a chance to see the village of Frikes. The boat will continue to sail across the waters before entering a hidden grotto in Meganisi. Meganisi is a small island situated opposite the port of Nydri in Lefkada. It boasts a beautiful natural setting, as it is carpeted with lush greenery and boasts enticingly clean emerald waters. The lack of mass tourism on the island makes Meganisi a unique place to visit for those who are looking for a remote escape! The only way to explore the island is either on foot or by private means of transportation, as there are no buses on the island. The boat will also stop in Skorpios, the island of Onassis. Do not miss out on the opportunity to swim across the beautiful waters here. A small lunch will be provided on the cruise. Later in the evening, you will return to the port where you will have some time in Lefkada before returning to Preveza.
Note: On rare occasions, the route of the boat trip may be changed (or completely canceled, or the number of islands visited may be changed) due to weather conditions or operational reasons.
Dinner and
Overnight in Preveza
Day 6: Preveza — Delphi — Olympia (B/-/D)
After breakfast, you will travel to the South of the Ionian Sea and towards the Gulf of Corinth. You will see Nafpaktos - its castle will remind you of its city Lepanto, where the famous sea battle took place between the Christians and Turks. Later, you will visit the archeological site and the Museum of Delphi, one of the most interesting archaeological sites in the country; Delphi is situated on the slopes of Mount Parnassus in Central Greece, It was the most important oracle in the ancient Greek World as pilgrims from all over the Mediterranean would come to ask for the prophecy of the God Apollo. This is one of the most important sites in Greece, and in ancient times it was considered the center of the known world, where heaven and Earth met. Entry to see this beautiful archaeological complex that overlooks the Golf of Corinth will be included. After the visit, you will be transferred to Olympia.

Overnight in Olympia
Day 7: Olympia — Patras — Nafplio (B/-/D)
After breakfast, you will explore the Archaeological Site of Olympia with a guided tour. After this, you cross the mountainous interior of the Peloponnese on your way to Patras, the third-largest city in Greece. You will have time to wander through the lively centre, which is bustling with commercial activity, and to enjoy lunch. A visit to Patras Castle will be included today. The Patras Fortress was built around the mid-6th century A.D above the ruins of the Ancient Acropolis in the city of Patras, situated on a low outlying hill of the Panachaiko Mountain and approximately 800 meters from the sea.
