Day 1 : Welcome To Santa Cruz Island: Highlands & Charles Darwin Research Station

Location: Baltra Island, Puerto Ayora

Welcome to the beautiful Galapagos Islands!

After arriving at Baltra Airport, your guide will be waiting for you to take you to Santa Cruz Island.
You will be amazed to see giant tortoises in the wild (in their natural habitat) at a farm in these highlands, then continue to the port in Puerto Ayora to check into the hotel.
In the afternoon, visit the Charles Darwin Station, where scientists from all over the world meet and work together on environmental projects such as water analysis, animal protection, effects of tourism on nature, etc., and the most famous place to see Giant Tortoises in the Galapagos where the animals are raised before being released into nature. The actual name of the tortoise area here is the “Fausto Llerena” Breeding Center, named after the Galapagos National Park ranger who cared for Lonesome George. This is the best place in the Galapagos to view numerous different species and see how their tortoiseshell shapes have evolved differently to match the terrain and vegetation of the islands they are native to.

Day 2 : Speedboat To Isabela Island & Wildlife On Las Tintoreras Islet

Location: Isabela Island

Accommodation: Hotel

On this day, your guide will pick you up to transfer you to Puerto Ayora Port and take a speedboat to Isabela Island.
After lunch, join a group tour for a visit to the Tintoreras Islet for a short hike and some snorkeling. Here you can see Humboldt penguins, marine iguanas, sea lions, and sharks, which rest in the natural channels formed by lava flows.
Afterward, snorkel in the turquoise water and spot different fish, sea turtles, rays, and penguins. The rest of your evening is free, with an overnight stay on Isabela Island.

Day 3 : Hiking The Sierra Negra Volcano

Location: Isabela Island

The majestic Sierra Negra Volcano will occupy today's agenda.
Our adventure starts with a journey from Puerto Villamil to the beginning of the trail. Once there, we will prepare our backpacks and start our walk through the relatively young woods, which suffer from constant geological changes.
You'll do a six-hour roundtrip hike to its summit, from where you'll get to see the second-largest volcanic crater in the world. Walk around spectacular lava landscapes, taking in the northern volcanoes in Isabela and Fernandina Islands.
During your climb, make sure to be on the lookout for the unique vegetation that inhabits the area.
Your finishing point is the edge of the Sierra Negra Volcano’s crater, this volcano is still active. Once at the edge of the crater, you will have spectacular views of the crater and the volcanoes that surround it. The circumference of the crater is huge, with a diameter of almost 10 km along with its widest point.
You'll have some free time after you get back to Isabela Island. If you still have energy, you can head to a beach or snorkel at Concha Perla.

Day 4 : Los Tuneles - Afternoon Speedboat To Puerto Ayora (Santa Cruz)

Location: Isabela Island, Puerto Ayora

Today you will go on an excursion to Los Tuneles, a perfect snorkeling spot. A series of lava flows have produced unique geological formations, like arcs and tunnels underneath and above the water. In the shallow waters, you can find tropical fish, rays, turtles, sea horses, and white-tipped reef sharks! And keep your eyes open for penguins on the rocks.
In the afternoon you return to Puerto Villamil where you will catch the afternoon speedboat to Puerto Ayora on Santa Cruz Island.

Day 5 : Transfer To Baltra Airport

Location: Baltra Island

The time has come to leave the Galapagos Islands but this time with everlasting memories. Take a final stroll through town and buy souvenirs for those who stayed home this time. When the time comes, you will be transferred to Baltra airport to catch your flight back to Quito or Guayaquil depending on your flight.

His communication was superb and his knowledge about the tours, transfers, flights, accommodations, and food was on point. Everything went smoothly, and was exactly as the itinerary that was given to us. The guides on the tours were ultra, professional, and they’re knowledgeable. The culture and the people we dearly treasured. we appreciated the two hotels that were in town and walking distance to everything. The price was right and the quality superb, and the communication was outstanding. I hope Jefferson is a trainer for others that arranges tours and speak to people as he has advanced skills in the area of communication, both written and spoken. The tour was relaxed and interesting. The hotels clean with courteous staff. The tours professional. What I really liked is the snorkeling. You float in the water and see many different colored fish. The speedboat rides are a bit tedious, but unavoidable. Kayaking in Tortuga Bay is very nice but it is difficult to see the wildlife. All in all a tour that is definitely worth it.

Really enjoyed it. Our guide was Pedro, and he really knew his stuff. The canoe rides and sightseeing were unforgettable. The food and restaurant service was great. The only suggestion I have is to give warning when the power and water are to go off, so we could plan around it.
