Backpacking Bali

Had an amazing adventure travelling Vietnam with Backpacking Tours this summer. Our tour guide Huy was so knowledgeable, kind and great craic! I’ve met some fantastic people whilst doing the tour and loved every excursion, experience and meal that Vietnam had to offer! So sad that the tour ended, Ive made so many fond memories from my time with Backpacking Tours that I will cherish forever

Had an absolute blast on the three week tour. Visited some amazing places and made some friends for life! Our bus drivers were fantastic and a laugh a minute. Special thanks to S, Heart and Dom for being amazing and making the trip! Would do it all again in a heart beat

Anyone looking to book this do it, literally had the time of my life and met the most amazing people on the way. Everyday your doing something you've never done before. You also spend 3 weeks with by far the best and most friendly tour guides you'll ever meet. If I could i would relive the 3 weeks all over again

I've been on two tours with Backpacking Tours now (Vietnam and Sri Lanka). Both times were two of the best experiences of my life and would recommend it to absolutely anyone. I was a bit nervous going to Sri Lanka due to the recent economic crisis, however, after spending a few weeks there and speaking with Dam, our tour guide, he filled me with so much confidence about the country and assured us that there had been no protests since the previous year despite media reports. I never felt unsafe there for even a moment. All of the Sri Lankan people we met seemed over the moon that we were visiting their country and told us at every opportunity that we were helping their country out. Our tour guide Dam and driver Sam were two of the most incredible people I've ever met. Dam knew everything about everything and whatever the question was he always had the answer, I've never met someone who knows so much about their country. They both helped us out on so many different occasions and bent over backwards for us so we had the best experience possible. Whatever issues we had they always sorted them straight away. We couldn't have asked for a better guide and driver and I'll forever miss them. The other group members were also so so lovely, everyone got on so well, we all helped each other out and gave each other the best experience. We were each a little different which made it so fun and made the group work so well. I couldn't have asked for a better group to travel around Sri Lanka with! All of the activities on the tour are included, however our tour guide was very helpful in suggesting extra activities if we had some free time (whale watching, zip line etc.) The way this tour has been designed is perfect, it's full of activities, the accommodation is all lovely and the amount of time spent in each town or city is ideal to see everything you need to see. Finally, the staff that I interacted with were all so nice and helpful, including Simon who came on the tour with us. I had an excessive amount of questions before I left and each one was answered quickly and thoughtfully! I honestly had the time of my life on this tour and was so upset to be leaving, it was so much fun and I'd definitely recommend this tour company to anyone and I already have quite a few times, but if you don't like rice then maybe Sri Lanka isn't the country for you

Just back from the most amazing 3 weeks in Thailand. I can't reccomend this tour enough it was so well organised and such an excellent way to experience an amazing country, trying all the wonderful food and exploring so many different areas! The trip wouldn't have been the same without our tour guide S, he went above and beyond for our group and made our experience so wonderful and one we will never forget! He really looked after us and gelled the group together. Also shout out to our driver Benz who really took care of us and made the travelling around so stress free. When our train broke down Benz came to pick us up and drove the extra 7 hours to take us to the next destination. Thank you so much to S and benz for making this an experience of a life time!

This trip definitely deserves 5 stars! From start to finish everything was planned and totally stress free! Our guides Tony, Heart and S were absolutely hilarious and went above and beyond to give us the best experience they could! Trip of a lifetime was definitely achieved with these amazing men helping us! Best trip ever I can't thank them enough for all they did for us and truly loving their jobs! I felt as though I didn't just leave with amazing memories, but with life long friends and people I can always go and visit again in Thailand!

Fantastic tour with amazing tour guides! Everything was really well organised and allowed us to see lots amazing sites and experience Thai culture. Would thoroughly recommend!!

I found this tour to be a brilliant way to see what Thailand has to offer. It was my first time booking with the company and it won't be the last. There is something on the tour for everyone. If you enjoy partying or you prefer the culture and history side of things you won't be disappointed. The sights and views you will see will leave you amazed. The tours guides we had S and Heart were so enthusiastic and full of knowledge. They were so good at bringing everyone together and made sure we all had a good time. All I can say is get it booked!

Having done three tours with this company (Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand) you could say i kinda like them!! Seriously though, do yourself a favour and book your trip to Thailand with BTT!! It will end up being a journey of a lifetime, an adventure you will never forget and some of the greatest travelling experiences!! Thanks again to Heart, K and Tony; I had the most amazing time!! Not forgetting Simon and Daniel, without you guys there would be no tours!! And now that Bali is up and running, i may have to come along xxx
