Day 1 : Arrival

You'll arrange your transportation to Gap and check into your hotel today. We're happy to assist with your travel plans—we've become quite adept at it! Meet in the hotel reception at 18:30 to meet fellow holiday participants before heading out for dinner in town.
Let us know if you'd like restaurant recommendations or bookings made in advance. Rooms are ready for check-in from 16:00, but if you arrive earlier, we can arrange to store your bags so you can explore Gap.
This Alpine town exudes a Provencal charm, with a delightful pedestrian area featuring bars and restaurants spilling onto the streets and squares. Wander through narrow lanes to discover boutique shops and hidden treasures.
Day 2 : Climbing At Dauphins And Corbières
Location: Pont-du-Fossé

In the morning, your guide will pick you up from the hotel at 8h30 and lead you to a stunning limestone climbing site in the Champsaur valley, nestled on the southern slope, at the edge of the Ecrins National Park.
Comprising two sections, the site offers a variety of 102 routes ranging from 3a to 8a, accommodating climbers of all levels. Routes vary in height from 8m to 84m, with an average single pitch route around 12m high.
This excursion serves as an ideal introduction to climbing in the French Alps, allowing everyone to gauge their skill level and adjust to the alpine terrain. Your guide will set up a selection of routes, adapting them throughout the day to suit individual abilities.
Experiment with different belaying devices, rope techniques, and even try leading under the guidance of your expert. Enjoy climbing in the warm sunshine amidst breathtaking mountain panoramas.
For lunch you can collect a picnic on the way to the crag or choose (this will be a group decision) to eat in a local restaurant (lunch is at your charge)
As the day concludes, your guide will drive you back to the hotel, leaving you free to explore Gap and enjoy an evening out in this charming Alpine town.
Day 3 : Climbing In Orpierre

Orpierre, a picturesque village famous for its cliffs, is a haven for sport climbing enthusiasts. Surrounded by cliffs, it pulsates with climbers scaling the Château cliff, Belleric slabs, and Quiquillon summit.
With over 600 well-equipped routes ranging from 3c to 8c, Orpierre offers something for every climber. Your guide will select routes based on previous climbs. While primarily single-pitch climbing, advanced climbers can opt for multi-pitch routes with an additional guide.
Lunch options include a picnic or dining at a village restaurant. After climbing, unwind in Orpierre's charming ambiance with a drink at a local bar before returning to Gap for the evening.
Day 4 : Multi-Pitch Climbing At Céüse
Location: Céüse 2000

This morning, it's time to check out of the hotel and pack your bags. You can either leave them at the hotel for later pickup or bring them along in the minibus.
On your final day, seize the opportunity to embark on a challenging multi-pitch route at the renowned Céüse climbing site. Home to "Biography," the world's first 9a+ route, Céüse offers a mix of tough climbs and newer, more accessible routes.
Your guide will recommend suitable routes based on your experience over the past two days. Expect a 45-minute to an hour hike to reach the 2000m-high cliff, where elite sport climbing awaits. Spend the day scaling the rock, enjoying a picnic, and soaking in the breathtaking views.
It's a thrilling climbing adventure to cap off your trip. At day's end, your guide will return you to Gap, where you can catch an evening train home. If you wish to extend your stay and depart tomorrow, just let us know when booking.
