Tour Overview
Often referred to as one of the best vantage points to view Everest, Pikey Peak is named after the local Sherpa deity who represents the sky leering over nature. A newly introduced trekking route, the Pikey Peak Trek allows you to enjoy close-up views of the Everest Peak and enjoy the lower Khumbu region's landscape that supports the ethnic lifestyle of the local people. A solitary trekking trip, the Pikey Peak trail follows the hidden settlements of the region to take you to sites like Jhapre and the Pikey Base Camp among other isolated and rarely-visited villages. It is a trip filled with wonderful and un-trodden landscapes filled with alpine woodlands and untouched pastures. The trip is perfect for anyone looking for an alternate route in the Khumbu to view the Everest peaks in a short amount of time without necessarily following the renowned trekking path.
