Tour Overview

Standing on the banks of the river Rapti, Meghauli Serai overlooks a vast expanse of rippling waters and the core of Chitwan National Park. This lodge is designed to showcase the spectacular wilderness and rooms as well as guest areas afford uninterrupted views of the jungle. The main lounge with an imposing chandelier made with 10,000 Nepalese hand painted beads. The lodge embraces local decor and aesthetics with an abundant use of local art and artefacts. The large Newari door leading to the lobby has been procured from a local Tharu village. A large infinity pool with a viewing deck and a ‘machan’ over the river for private dining and wildlife viewing add to the charm of this jungle lodge at Chitwan.

Day 9 : 9 Days Lifetime Experience Luxury Nepal

Location: Pokhara

Day 1 : Kathmandu Arrival

Arrival at Kathmandu International Airport. Transfer to hotel. Check-in at Hotel. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 : Full-day Kathmandu City Sightseeing

After breakfast, start a sightseeing of Kathmandu City. It includes Kathmandu Durbar Square, Swoyambhunath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple and Bouddhanath Stupa. Lunch. Back to hotel. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 : Kathmandu to Pokhara by flight

After breakfast, transfer to Kathmandu Domestic Terminal for a flight to Pokhara (25 mins). Reached Pokhara. Check-in at Hotel. Lunch. Peace Pagoda Sightseeing. Back to hotel. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

Day 4 : Sarangkot & Pokhara City Sightseeing

Early in the morning transfer to Sarangkot for Sunrise. Back to hotel and have breakfast. After breakfast, start a city tour of Pokhara. It includes Davis Falls, Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, International Mountain Museum and 1 hour Fewa Lake boating. Lunch. Back to hotel. Dinner. Overnight at hotel

Day 5 : Pokhara to Chitwan by Flight

After breakfast, transfer to Pokhara Domestic Terminal for a flight to Chitwan. Reached Chitwan. Luxury coach will pick the guest up for a tide till the lodge - all coaches will have a Taj Safaris Naturallist as escort. Familiarization with the lodge. Introduction with Naturalist and check-in. Lunch. Float down with the picturesque Rapti river enjoying beautiful view of the Himalayan foothills and spot enumerable rhinos, gharials and bird-life. Get a chance to spot Chitwan's rich diversity of wild-life including One horned rhinos, wild boar, spotted and hog dear. Enjoy a beautiful Sun-downer at the conjuring of Rapti and Narayani River. Thee, a rustic wild bush theme dinner with over 101 lamps and mashals to illuminate the natural setting- Theme is Nepali Traditional Wear- Enjoy a mix of Nepali cuisine and Grills along with experts with a Tharu's traditional dance. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6 : Chitwan Jungle Activities

Breakfast at Badaghar - quick coffee and cookies before drive. Time for a Jeep Safari. Experience the thrill of sighting a one horned rhinoceros from very close quarters with our naturalists at the Chitwan National Parkand have Bonnet Breakfast around 10 am in the jungle (buffer zone/community forest during the monsoon). Lunch (a mix or Italian and continental meal) at Badaghar. Elephant ride/ Village walk - to the community forest for Elephant ride and nearby village for a Village walk. Dinner will be at the infinity pool with Nepali BBQ dinner, along with the mouth watering Live Mongolian and oriental meal. Overnight at hotel.

Day 7 : Chitwan to Kathmandu (flight) & then Nagarkot

Relish the breakfast at the restaurant (Badaghar). Transfer to Chitwan Domestic Terminal for a flight to Kathmandu. Bhaktapur Sightseeing. Lunch. Transfer to Nagarkot Hillstation. Observe majestic and lofty himalayas. Watch beautiful sunset. Dinner. Overnight at hotel.

I went on the "Kathmandu: Pharping, Dakshinkali and Chobar Tour with Lunch" tour un February 2020. The guide and driver picked me up on time in a very nice car. This is why I gave 2 stars and not 1. Other than that: - The description says that the tour includes visits of Asura cave, Shesnarayan temple, Gorakhnath temple, Dakshinkali temple and the Chobar Gorge. However, we did not visit Shesnarayan and Gorakhnath temples. - Pictures in the description have been taken prior to the 2015 earthquake. The temple at Chobar Gorge has been severely damaged and doesn't look like that. I understand that this is out of the control of the tour company. However, pictures should be updated. - We stopped at 2 monasteries (including the one with the giant monument showed in the description). Both monasteries were closed. I was then told to take pictures through a hole in the gate. - We stopped at a cavern that was apparently closed since last year. - The description says that this is a 8h tour. I was back at my hotel after 4 hours. - There was a large number of kids on the road that were trying to stop cars by standing on the road with ropes. They were asking money. The driver was driving the car as close as possible to scare them. The guide and him found it very funny. I would not recommend this tour.

Oh they are just so pathetic. Their parking staff is just so arrogant and rude. Just so unprofessional. Recommended to avoid them
