Day 1: Merlbourne Arrival (-/-/D)

Welcome to Australia! Upon arrival at the Melbourne International Airport, you will be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure to explore the city at your own pace or relax.

Overnight in Melbourne

Day 2: Melbourne (B/-/-)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. Melbourne is renowned for its cool cafes, so we suggest stopping in for a coffee to keep you going as you explore the city's most striking laneways on foot. You make the choice this afternoon. A trip to Phillip Island to observe penguins waddle from the water to the sand would be in order. We wouldn't blame you for sticking around and exploring Melbourne's food scene in depth. Ask us for advice on the hottest restaurants and bars.

Overnight in Melbourne

Day 3: Melbourne (B/-/-)

After Breakfast, Head out to explore more of Melbourne city on your own or or pre-book one of the following optional tours.

Overnight in Uluru

Day 5: Uluru And Kata Tjuta (B/-/-)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before starting your day or maybe start the day before breafkast? Sunrise over Uluru is the only reason to rise early, in our opinion.  Incredibly, the Rocks base caves are home to First Nations art that dates back tens of thousands of years. What a privilege to see it. As you approach Kata Tjuta, the ochres and silvery greens of the NT outback follow you, and Walpa Gorge humbles you with its towering cliffs. Explore the tallest domes prior to yet another beautiful sunset (and sparkling wine)

Overnight in Uluru

Day 6: Uluru – Cairns (By Flight) (B/-/-)

This morning, after breakfast, you will be picked up and transferred to the Ayers Rock Airport for your flight to Cairns. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel via airport shuttle. Enjoy the rest of your day at leisure.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. The Great Barrier Reef, the largest living thing on earth, never ceases to amaze. Set off on a catamaran to discover a kaleidoscope of colour, which is home to more than 1,500 types of fish, 215 bird species, 3,000 mollusks, six of the seven species of marine turtles in the world, and 30 distinct species of dolphins and whales. If you don't want to get your hair wet, strap in a snorkel or visit an underwater observatory and semi-submersible craft. Dinner tonight at Salt House on Cairns' waterfront will be regional seafood freshly caught from the ocean, showcasing fresh, local ingredients, and grilled on their specially constructed Argentinian wood fired grill.

Overnight in Cairns

Day 9: Cairns — Sydney (By Flight) (B/-/D)

You will be led inside the exclusive Bondi Surf Bathers' Life Saving Club by a nearby surf life saver. Overnight in Sydney

Day 11: Sydney (B/-/-)

Enjoy breakfast at hotel and spend the day at leisure exploring Sydney or pre-book an optional tour.

Overnight in Sydney

Day 12: Sydney (B/-/D)

After having breakfast, start your day! Once you've gotten your bearings in Sydney, why not loiter along the harbour. Maybe it's time to climb the Sydney Bridge Climb to get a bird's-eye view. The viewpoint provided by this aerial picture is unquestionably helpful. Back on the ground floor, you're in the Rocks, the city's original colonial district, which is characterized by cobblestone streets and exclusive galleries. The tour organized by Indus Travels was flawless. Hotels, tours, and transportation all impressed me. We had a very relaxing time knowing what was happening at each stage. The scenery and activities were fantastic and did not disappoint. The highlight of the trip was definitely Galapagos Islands.

07-Dec-2023

Booked Mystical Egypt tour with them visiting Cairo and a 03 Nights Cruise from Luxor to Aswan in May. All services were perfect since the time we arrived at the airport, we were met by a hospitable Indus Representative who helped us with the purchase of local SIM and currency exchange. He was always there in time to assist for transfers. The Amwaj Cruise which we took from Luxor to Aswan was a Gem. We had great guides and all sightseeing worked like a clockwork. We enjoyed visiting Karnak Temples, Temples of Edfu, Kom Ombo and the boat ride to see Phillae Temple. Evening entertainment on cruise were great and engaging. In Cairo and Aswan, we had ample leisure time to explore on own, the Pyramids were impressive and visiting Khan e Khalili was fun. Overall and impressive and enjoyable tour, Thanks to Indus Travels!

Indus Travel runs a highly...

04-Mar-2024

Indus Travel runs a highly professional organization. From customer service to brochures, bookings, tour guides, etc. and the consideration for their customers is superb. This was the first time I had travelled with Indus Travels. We took the Taste of Portugal Tour. Group numbers are small, accommodation comfortable and food excellent. The expert guide who accompanied us was outstanding - passionate, informative, engaging, and entertaining. This company is obviously at the heart of the itinerary planning, and attention to detail is second to none. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a fun, relaxed, educational vacation with fine food - they will deliver! We will never forget this trip and we are already planning for another one to Wonders of Italy, Vienna, Budapest, and Prague.

Indus Travels did an excellent job planning the trip to Italy. We were on Best of Italy in Oct 2022. The tour was 5 stars all the way. The hotel accommodations were comfortable and clean & guides were top-notch.

We were looking for a customized, small group tour. We took a chance on Indus without knowing much about the company. We just returned from our trip to Greece and are more than highly please and satisfied with our experience. They planned an amazing itinerary, booked amazing hotels, hired knowledgeable tour guides and arranged high quality transportation services. Everyone went above and beyond to please us. We are already planning a trip for next year (2024) and will definitely use Indus to do so.

My wife and I along...

07-Mar-2024

My wife and I along with three friends signed up the tour to Mexico from Indus Travel. The total 12-day Maya Culture trip really gave us opportunities to learn Mexico indigenous cultures thoroughly. We have seen a lot of ruins and pyramids, each of them has different representations and can tell the history of what was happening atthat time. We also had chances to visit the indigenous families toexperence the real Mexican people's life inthe rural area. The views of volcanoes, villages and canyons are also unforgettable. This is a small group with total 7 tourists, our driver/tour guide is a very experienced guide, he explained the history in sequence of events in and out. Most of all with 2500km driving he made us fell safe with his skills. All in all, this trip worths a 5+ star. I was so surprised that Indus Travel assigned a tour coordinator dedicated to our group, Kathlene helped a lot to make the arrangement for the whole trip and made us worry free.

My partner and I planned a trip to Greece with a small group. Indus and their representatives went above and beyond to curate an amazing trip that felt very exclusive. We just returned a couple of weeks ago and are already planning another trip.

13-Nov-2023

I booked a trip with Indus to South Africa and had a fabulous time! It was easy to book the trip online and any questions I had were answered very quickly by Sabine. The hotels we stayed at were very nice and in good locations. Our tours were well organized and our safari in Kruger National park was definitely a highlight. A few mornings had a bright and early start, but this allowed us to accomplish quite a lot in a day. The hotel restaurants had decent food, which was convenient if we had a longer day and didn't want to go out to eat. Overall, I was very happy with the trip and I felt the price for my tour was excellent value. I would definitely use Indus again!

11-Jul-2023

Glimpse of Egypt Quick paced tour taken after Egypt opened back up to tourists, particularly Americans. Went in November and weather was beautiful. Decent hotels and overnight Nile cruise. You will see a lot on this tour and be aware there are some early wake ups. Lots of walking but doable if you're in decent shape. Overall a fun tour with all the sites you have only seen in books!

Indus has some very good...

24-May-2024

Indus has some very good tour itineraries at very competitive prices. I called with several specific questions about land only vs. air included, and they were immediately responsive, and within hours had the website description updated to assist anyone else who might have the same questions. I called again with specific questions about insurance, and the first person to answer the phone was completely knowledgeable based on past experience and gave me good advice. Four stars vs. five only because I just made the booking yesterday, and withhold one pending how this whole trip turns out two months from now.
