Arrive and check in at the hotel. After a brief rest choose to explore these amazing rock formations or you can try your hand on sand boarding.

Overnight in Cervantes

Day 2: Sat Cervantes – Geraldton (223 Kms Approx)

This morning travel on to Geraldton via Greenough. A major port and administrative center of the mid-west region, Geraldon enjoys year-round sunny climate and mild winters making it a perfect year-round getaway. Geraldton and surrounding districts are also note for the beautiful wild spring flowers and the scenic countryside. Arrive and check in at the hotel. You have the day free to explore Geraldton. You may choose to visit the Geraldton Foreshore and city center which offers you opportunity to walk, get engaged in beach activities or enjoy water activities like fishing, snorkelling and scuba diving, windsurfing and kitesurfing etc. Perhaps you can visit HMAS Sydney memorial, dedicated to world war II cruiser HMAS Sydney which got destroyed in a fight with German Cruiser Kormoran in Nov1941, with none of the 645 crewmen onboard surviving.

Overnight in Geraldton

Day 3: Sun Geraldton - Kalbarri (154 Kms Approx)

Head back out to the highway and turn North, travel along the Northwest coastal highway to the reach Kalbarri, the base to explore Kalbarri National Park. Arrive and check in at the hotel. After a brief rest explore Kalbarri National Park and Muchinson River, known for its spectacular gorges and abundant wildflowers, it is believed to preserve over 850 species of them. Kalbarri National Park preserves the inland desert regions of red and white striped Tumblagooda sandstone east of the town of Kalbarri, and the coastline south of town which features cliffs more than 100mts high, apart from several wind and water eroded rock formations including a sea stack and a natural bridge.

Overnight in Kalbarri

Day 4: Mon Kalbarri – Monkey Mia (390 Kms Approx)

Your drive continues to take you North on the Northwest Coastal Highway to Monkey Mia and Shark Bay World Heritage Area. As you approach Shark Bay visit the living marine stromatolites at Hamelin Pool. We suggest you also make a stop at the stunning 110-kilometre Shell Beach – a beach made up of billions of tiny white shells. Further on enjoy the breathtaking views from Eagle Bluff. From the town of Denham it is 27 kilometres north-east by sealed road to Monkey Mia.

Overnight in Monkey Mia

Day 5: Tue Monkey Mia

A day to rest, relax and experience this beautiful area. Visit the Bottlenose dolphins, or just relax on the fantastic beaches. We recommend an afternoon sunset cruise on the Shotover catamaran.

Overnight in Monkey Mia

Day 6: Wed Monkey Mia -Carnarvon (Approx 340Kms)

Travel the Northwest Coastal Highway northwards along the coast to Carnarvon, on the mouth of Gascoyne River. Sandwiched between Shark Bay world heritage area in South and the Ningaloo Reef in the North, Carnarvon is the commercial centre of the highly productive Gascoyne River.

Overnight in Carnarvon

Day 7: Thu Carnarvon- Exmouth (Approx 363Kms)

Continue your drive northwards, turn off to Coral Bay just past the Minilya Roadhouse, Coral Bay is the gateway to the fantastic coral of Ningaloo Reef and the Ningaloo Marine Park with its underwater viewing platform. Overnight in Exmouth.

Day 8: Fri Exmouth

Enjoy a complete day at leisure, explore the magnificent coastal region and reef at your own leisurely pace.  Perhaps take a half day snorkel cruise to get up close to the majestic Manta Rays. Take an early start, a long journey of over 600kms awaits you. Todays journey takes you into the depths of the breathtaking Karijini National Park. Depart Port Hedland and travel on the Great Northern Highway, which turns south to take you to Karijini National Park. Located north of the Tropic of Capricorn, the park is most notable for its many Gorges, containing slot canyons, waterfalls and water holes with visitors sometimes swimming in the cold pools of water.

Overnight in Karijini

Day 10: Sun Karijini

Explore the winding, jagged gorges of Karijini National Park. Visit Joffe Gorge and enjoy some easy strolls along spectacular lookouts or some more difficult paths among sheer rock cliffs, crystal clear pools and cascading waterfalls. You may get a chance to encounter Red Kangaroos, Rock Wallabies, Euros and Echidnas apart from the various species of reptiles and birds.

Overnight in Karijini

Day 11: Mon Karijini – Port Hedland (Approx 338Kms)

Your journey continues on to Port Hedland travelling through the small town of Roebourne. Once the administrative centre of the region, with a population of less than 1500, it has long been overshadowed by other towns and industries. Gateway to the Australias massive iron ore exports from the surrounding Pilbara Region, Port Hedland has a flatback sea turtle rookery located on the main beachfront, several lookouts on the beachfront allow views of marine mammals like Indo-Pacific bottlenose dolphins, Indo-Pacific humpbacked dolphins and Australian snubfin dolphins.

The tour organized by Indus Travels was flawless. Hotels, tours, and transportation all impressed me. We had a very relaxing time knowing what was happening at each stage. The scenery and activities were fantastic and did not disappoint. The highlight of the trip was definitely Galapagos Islands.

Booked Mystical Egypt tour with them visiting Cairo and a 03 Nights Cruise from Luxor to Aswan in May. All services were perfect since the time we arrived at the airport, we were met by a hospitable Indus Representative who helped us with the purchase of local SIM and currency exchange. He was always there in time to assist for transfers. The Amwaj Cruise which we took from Luxor to Aswan was a Gem. We had great guides and all sightseeing worked like a clockwork. We enjoyed visiting Karnak Temples, Temples of Edfu, Kom Ombo and the boat ride to see Phillae Temple. Evening entertainment on cruise were great and engaging. In Cairo and Aswan, we had ample leisure time to explore on own, the Pyramids were impressive and visiting Khan e Khalili was fun. Overall and impressive and enjoyable tour, Thanks to Indus Travels!

Indus Travel runs a highly professional organization. From customer service to brochures, bookings, tour guides, etc. and the consideration for their customers is superb. This was the first time I had travelled with Indus Travels. We took the Taste of Portugal Tour. Group numbers are small, accommodation comfortable and food excellent. The expert guide who accompanied us was outstanding - passionate, informative, engaging, and entertaining. This company is obviously at the heart of the itinerary planning, and attention to detail is second to none. I would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting a fun, relaxed, educational vacation with fine food - they will deliver! We will never forget this trip and we are already planning for another one to Wonders of Italy, Vienna, Budapest, and Prague.

We were looking for a customized, small group tour. We took a chance on Indus without knowing much about the company. We just returned from our trip to Greece and are more than highly please and satisfied with our experience. They planned an amazing itinerary, booked amazing hotels, hired knowledgeable tour guides and arranged high quality transportation services. Everyone went above and beyond to please us. We are already planning a trip for next year (2024) and will definitely use Indus to do so.

07-Mar-2024

My wife and I along with three friends signed up the tour to Mexico from Indus Travel. The total 12-day Maya Culture trip really gave us opportunities to learn Mexico indigenous cultures thoroughly. We have seen a lot of ruins and pyramids, each of them has different representations and can tell the history of what was happening atthat time. We also had chances to visit the indigenous families toexperence the real Mexican people's life inthe rural area. The views of volcanoes, villages and canyons are also unforgettable. This is a small group with total 7 tourists, our driver/tour guide is a very experienced guide, he explained the history in sequence of events in and out. Most of all with 2500km driving he made us fell safe with his skills. All in all, this trip worths a 5+ star. I was so surprised that Indus Travel assigned a tour coordinator dedicated to our group, Kathlene helped a lot to make the arrangement for the whole trip and made us worry free.

My partner and I planned a trip to Greece with a small group. Indus and their representatives went above and beyond to curate an amazing trip that felt very exclusive. We just returned a couple of weeks ago and are already planning another trip.

13-Nov-2023

I booked a trip with Indus to South Africa and had a fabulous time! It was easy to book the trip online and any questions I had were answered very quickly by Sabine. The hotels we stayed at were very nice and in good locations. Our tours were well organized and our safari in Kruger National park was definitely a highlight. A few mornings had a bright and early start, but this allowed us to accomplish quite a lot in a day. The hotel restaurants had decent food, which was convenient if we had a longer day and didn't want to go out to eat. Overall, I was very happy with the trip and I felt the price for my tour was excellent value. I would definitely use Indus again!

11-Jul-2023

Glimpse of Egypt Quick paced tour taken after Egypt opened back up to tourists, particularly Americans. Went in November and weather was beautiful. Decent hotels and overnight Nile cruise. You will see a lot on this tour and be aware there are some early wake ups. Lots of walking but doable if you're in decent shape. Overall a fun tour with all the sites you have only seen in books!

24-May-2024

Indus has some very good tour itineraries at very competitive prices. I called with several specific questions about land only vs. air included, and they were immediately responsive, and within hours had the website description updated to assist anyone else who might have the same questions. I called again with specific questions about insurance, and the first person to answer the phone was completely knowledgeable based on past experience and gave me good advice. Four stars vs. five only because I just made the booking yesterday, and withhold one pending how this whole trip turns out two months from now.
