Day 1 : Islamabad

Location: Islamabad International Airport, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Islamabad

Arrival at Islamabad International airport.
Transfer to hotel.
In the evening leave for twin city (Islamabad-Rawalpindi) excursion
Visit Raja Bazar, Faisal Mosque, Pakistan Monument, Pakistan Museum (depending on the available time.

Day 2 : Fly To Skardu-Hunza

Location: Skardu International Airport

• Early Morning drive to Islamabad Airport to take a flight to Skardu,
• Drive from Skardu airport to Hunza,
• Evening walk around at Karimabad Bazar and visit Baltit Fort.

Day 3 : Gulmit/Attabad Lake

Location: Gulmit

Accommodation: Resort, ResortResort

Drive to Gulmit on the way stop over at Ata Abad lake
• Hike Ondra Poygah to Ghulkin Ghar to Ghulkin village.
• Overnight in hotel in Ghulkin.

Day 4 : Khunjerab National Park

Location: Khunjerab

Accommodation: Hotel

Meals Included: Breakfast, Dinner

Drive to Khunjerab Pass (Pakistan-China Border)
• On the way stop over at Rainbow Bridge. Passu cones viewpoint.
• Pass through Sost town and Khunjerab National park (if you are lucky you may see Markhor, blue sheep,
marmots snow leopard)
• Drive back to Borith Lake, overnight at Borith Lake Hotel

Day 5 : Hunza Karimabad

Location: Karimabad

Accommodation: Hotel

Early morning drive to Hopper Glacier in the afternoon drive to Karimabad
• visit Karimabad bazaar and Baltit fort.
• Overnight in Karimabad
“Visit Hopper Glacier to witness Diran Peak Rakaposhi peak. Also, visit the historical Karimabad Bazar and Baltit fort with beautiful views of mighty Rakaposhi to witness the sunset”

Day 6 : Drive Skardu

Location: Skardu International Airport

Drive to Skardu. On the way stopover at Rakaposhi view point, Junction Point before reaching Skardu.

Joseph Kaelin A long time ago, shortly after the Karakoram Highway was built, I travelled through the Hunza Valley. I always hoped to come back some day and explore this area more. Fortunately, work took me recently to northern Pakistan and I was able to visit the upper Hunza valley. I trekked to the Passu glacier, Patundas Meadow and the Passu Peak base camp. This was a wonderful trek. The terrain that we crossed was varied, mostly in the arid zone, but sometimes also in the cedars, then finally in the alpine zone. We hiked along glacier moraines, crossed the Passu glacier and hiked the ridge above Patundas Meadows. Everywhere the views were breathtaking. The locals call it Patundas table, because the meadow is flat and provides a true 360 degree panorama. Some preparation is required to visit the area, organising the porters and food.
