Day 2 : Flight To Lukla (2850 M) - Phakding (2600 M)

Location: Phakding, Kathmandu

Accommodation: Lodge, Lodge

Meals Included: Breakfast, No Meals

Regarding treks in the Everest region, Kathmandu / Lukla flights are no longer operated due to excessive air traffic in October and November (government decision). It's Kathmandu / Ramechhap by car (about 3 hours drive) and then Ramechhap / Lukla by plane (about 25 minutes flight). Same for the return. For the rest of the year, Kathmandu / Lukla flights are maintained.
The flight to Lukla (subject to weather conditions) is one of the most beautiful imaginable! The small plane skirts a multitude of snow-capped peaks and hills sculpted with terraced fields. From a distance, the runway at Lukla airport, a counter slope perched on the edge of a small plateau, seems very narrow for a landing...
The team of porters is waiting for us, the loads are distributed by the Sirdar and we begin the trek with a gentle descent on a balcony path which overlooks the Dudh Kosi. The landscape is shaped by man: villages surrounded by rice fields, chortens and stones engraved with prayers (the mani), bridges suspended over rivers. Large venerable cedars line the route. We reach the bottom of the valley and settle in at the Phakding lodge

Day 3 : Trekking From Phakding To Namche Bazar (3440 M)

Meals Included: Breakfast

We travel up the Dudh Khola River, with the magnificent Himalayan pines lining our route. Several bridges make us change banks according to the meanders of the river. Depending on your mood, half a day of hiking on the heights of Namche Bazar: villages of Khunde and Khumjung (3780 m), landscapes of mountain pastures and small well-ordered fields. We can admire the sunset over Ama Dablam, Nuptse and Everest above Namche (1 hour walk).

Day 7 : Trekking Form Pheriche To Lobuche (4930 M)

Location: Lobuche

Day 8 : Trekking Form Lobuche - Everest Base Camp - Gorakshep (5160 M)

Location: Gorakshep

Accommodation: Lodge

Meals Included: Breakfast

Always along the moraines of the Khumbu glacier, a chaotic path brings us to the real base camp of Everest. We are at the foot of the famous "Ice Fall" which climbers take to reach the coveted summit...maybe we will have the chance to see some of them...Falls of seracs, the grandeur of the peaks that surround this legendary place. there is a great atmosphere in these fantastic landscapes. Then return by the path that descends to Gorakshep (5,160 m)

Day 9 : Gorakshep - Kala Pattar (5545 M) - Dingboche (4400M)

Location: Dingboche

Accommodation: Lodge

Meals Included: Breakfast

We climb the slopes of Kala Pattar as the sun rises over the summit pyramid of Everest. The Belvedere is a shoulder at 5543 m, located at the bottom of the southern spur of Pumori. From this unique point of view in the heart of Khumbu, we share a moment of quietude, and magic, facing the giants of the earth. The lights reveal the tapered ridges, the lace of ice and gigantic vertiginous slopes of snow which gradually change from orange-red to sparkling white. The spirit filled with these wonders, we approach our journey back. We retrace our steps to Thokla and branch off towards Dingboche The descent is tasty, a hot drink in Gorak Shep, a break in the sun in the mountain pastures of Lobuche, our eyes fixed on the North faces of Ama Dablam, Taboche and from Thamserku.

Day 10 : Trekking Form Dingboche To Namche Bazar (3400 M)

Location: Namche Bazar

Accommodation: Lodge

We lose altitude and find more populated lands. The descent takes place on the sunny side of the valley, facing Ama Dablam and the duo Thamserku and Kantega. Mani and chortens again punctuate the path. We cross two important villages, Pheriche and Panboche. In the latter, nestled in the middle of pines and junipers, a monastery shelters a curiosity: the scalp of a yeti... We continue our descent towards the bottom of the valley, carpeted with pines and rhododendrons, a haven of a small Himalayan ungulate, the musk deer, before going up to the monastery of Tengboche. Founded in 1919, it is perched on a spur, a perfect belvedere over Ama Dablam and the great wall of Nuptse and Lhotse. Rapid descent in a beautiful forest. Crossing a footbridge at Phunki, before a slow ascent then a balcony path leading to Namche Bazar.

Day 11 : Trekking From Namche To Lukla (2800M)

Location: Lukla
